We use the highest quality silica sand. This is a hard quartz sand with the proper angular shape to avoid destabilization without compacting to a too hard of surface. This also will drain well while holding moisture content without becoming slippery. The sand is the most important product of the whole arena. No matter the how good of fiber you put in your ring, it will never make up for poor quality sand. High quality Silica sand will have very little breakdown and dust for years to come. 

Washed drainage rock is the second most important part. This is what will give you a free draining base and allow your ring to dry at a fast and consistent rate throughout your arena all year. This is usually a washed 57 stone. It compacts well but allows fast drainage.  NEVER accept unwashed drainage rock. this will clog and in time cause poor and uneven drainage. Never use clay in Florida, if someone suggests otherwise, run. The only time you use clay mix is for western riding type surfaces. 

After your organics have been scraped and the arena leveled, we add a road type base. This is to ensure your drainage rock stays clean and keeps your arena level from ground deformation for years to come. Without this your ground will compact, change and wash out. This will cause unevenness in your arena, especially from high impact areas.

Great for drier areas that don't require very fast drainage. Will help keep footing wet longer.

Great for superior drainage quickly and helping dry the arena faster and evenly.

This product is great for very wet areas and land instability where soil erosion, and major rainfalls can sweep away footing. This will secure your arena in even the wettest times and on slopes or hillsides.
